Last year CM Global launched a brand new conference and it was amazing! You say, why launch ANOTHER conference? Well, because there was a real need for a conference that truly allowed people to connect, network, be encouraged, challenged and equipped. There was an opening for a conference that was truly designed to not break the budget but to go overboard on filling up one’s spiritual bank account.
I so appreciated the heartbeat of CM Conference. Connect, Serve, Advance! was the challenge last year and in 2016 the theme will be… Drum Roll Please!!……..RISE UP!!
So let me digress to last years first and I’ll blog more later about what you can expect for 2016!
Connecting- I loved the intentional times to connect with each other. From early morning gatherings to the “after party” after the evening general session, there was plenty of time to connect with others from around the country and share what God is doing. There were even plenty of people from around the world and so you can learn about Kidmin in Asia, Africa and Australia too!
Serve- The team that operates CM Conference was all about serving us the attendees as well as serving the ministries we come from. The heart for building and serving the Kingdom was so clearly demonstrated and every detail had this running through it.
Advance– The challenge to advance the gospel both here and the USA was so moving from the stories of those who serve here but the international movement of God was heart pounding as we heard stories of what our brothers and sisters in Christ were facing. I was so moved by their passion that it broke my heart for the place where God has me servings and how I needed to have that same passion to advance God’s word.
CM Conference was by far the most affordable conference that I’ve attended. Most conferences are cost prohibitive to smaller churches and bi-vocational ministers but not this one!
I want to tell you now to mark your calendar for and watch this blog along with others who are blogging this week! We’ll have more details very soon!
